As part of the action plan on the prevention of psychosocial risks at the ITER Site, we would like to invite you to a conference dedicated to Workplace Violence and its prevention, as part of our 2024 Safety Day.

The purpose of this conference is to give you more insight on:

  • What the different forms of Workplace Violence are, and how to detect them
  • Why they are a problem for health and safety, performance and organization
  • What to do when you are facing such situations, as a target or as a witness

This will be illustrated through 4 typical situations. The conference will be followed by an exchange with the speaker to help you ask any questions you have on the topic.

We are confident that attending this conference would be of great benefit for all: staff, managers, IPAs, interims… even if we do not feel directly subject to violence at work, we may still witness difficult situations and it is essential to know how to react in such cases.

Therefore, in order to maximize the chances for you to be able to attend, the conference will be delivered twice (with the exact same content) during the day, from 10:00 to 12:00 and then from 14:00 to 16:00. You can register for the other scheduled session from 14:00 to 16:00 by following this link.

Please note that due to the format and interactions with the provider, the conference will be held in person only in the Amphitheatre (no live stream, and no video recording will be made available).

Looking forward to seeing many of you,
