Please note that to enter the site on Thursday and Friday and attend the workshop on-site, the on-site registration has to be filled by 23/11/2023.
In general, absolute calibrations of diagnostics and any other kind of calibration and related uncertainties are essential for instance to perform data analyses, to derive confidence intervals on derived physics quantities and to ensure high scientific standards for discussions and publications. Currently, reflectometry, electron cyclotron emission and collective Thomson scattering diagnostics are foreseen microwave diagnostics at ITER. Each of these systems demand diverse calibration procedures. In order to assess such existing and envisaged calibration procedures and discuss them amongst experts, this workshop will be held on the ITER site. We kindly ask for your contribution of any kind like an oral presentation and/or your availability for discussion and review of the presented. You may attend this workshop on-site or remotely.
For presentations, please contact S. Schmuck (Stefan.Schmuck@iter.org) directly.
